Our story

Two designer sisters, one big passion for the little details

We're Blanca and Luisa Prado, two Miami graphic designers who started out making wedding invitations by hand. For more than 20 years we've been creating the small, personal touches that make everyday moments feel special.

Long before Label Circus...

There was a little girl selling her drawings, and her biggest fan

As a kid, Blanca was always drawing, and she sold her drawings to the neighbors. Her most loyal customer was her little sister Luisa, just a year and a half younger, who bought from her every single time because she loved everything Blanca made. Blanca has been designing ever since, and Luisa has been her biggest fan, and her business partner, ever since.

We share the same soft spot: pretty things, beautifully decorated spaces, and stationery that's lovely, a little quirky and full of personality. It's what we've always collected, and it's exactly what we design.

Where it all began

It started with paper, texture and a lot of handwork

As young graphic designers, we opened our first stationery studio in 1995 and created our own line of wedding stationery, made entirely by hand. We layered papers, mixed textures and finished every detail ourselves, so each piece was one of a kind. Brides loved them, and we loved seeing our work become part of their big day.

Those years taught us everything: how to design, how to produce with care, and how much a beautiful detail can mean to someone.

The smallest details are the ones people remember.

1995

Handmade wedding stationery

Two young graphic designers open their first studio, creating invitations by hand with layered papers and textures.
A new home

A new country, a new chapter

We moved from our home country, became moms to three boys and a girl between us, and started seeing stationery through our kids' eyes.

Label Circus is born

We bring our design experience to labels and stationery for kids and families, all exclusive and personalized.

Every great act needs a director, and someone who keeps the whole show running smoothly.

Blanca Prado

Art Director

Blanca makes sure every design in the Label Circus collection looks amazing. She started young, designing a complete line of patterned dresses for her dolls, and never stopped. She loves artwork with a quirky, hand-drawn feel and doesn't have a favorite color, because she believes every color gets its moment of fame.

Off the clock: mom to one girl, traveling, discovering little local shops full of treasures, and trying any food, as long as someone else cooks it. Lucky for her, her sister loves to cook.

Luisa Prado

Marketing, Web & Operations

Luisa keeps the show running. A graphic designer and marketer, she's passionate about optimizing processes and marketing: finding smarter ways to work so every order is made with care and arrives on time, and making sure more families discover what we create. She also runs her own marketing agency that designs websites, so she's the one behind the Label Circus website you're browsing right now.

Off the clock: mom to three boys, cooking, traveling, shopping, playing tennis, and trying every new restaurant she can. A true foodie.

Because our collection is a show full of acts and characters

Pandas and flamingos, rockets and donuts, elegant monograms and playful patterns. Like a circus, there's something for every age, style and occasion, and each design has its own personality. Our goal is simple: thoughtfully designed products that follow today's styles and make life a little more organized and a lot more fun.

We believe ordinary days deserve to be celebrated. A name on a lunchbox that makes a child feel proud. A pretty tag on a tin of cookies for the neighbors. A card that turns a simple thank-you into a moment someone keeps. Small details like these make everyday life feel more meaningful, more personal and a lot more joyful.
